2026 BECE Timetable in Ghana (Full Exam Schedule for Students)

The official timetable for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) has been released. The examination will be organized by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

  • Integrated Science 2 (Essay) — 9:00 am to 10:25 am

  • Integrated Science 1 (Objective) — 10:25 am to 11:10 am

  • Career Technology 2 (Essay) — 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm

Thursday, 7th May 2026

  • Mathematics 2 (Essay) — 9:00 am to 10:00 am

  • Mathematics 1 (Objective) — 10:00 am to 11:00 am

  • Ghanaian Language 2 (Essay) — 1:00 pm to 2:10 pm

  • Ghanaian Language 1 (Objective) — 2:10 pm to 3:00 pm


Friday, 8th May 2026

  • French 2 (Essay) — 9:00 am to 9:45 am

  • French 1 (Objective) — 9:45 am to 10:45 am

  • Computing 2 (Essay) — 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm

  • Computing 1 (Objective) — 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm


Monday, 11th May 2026

  • Arabic 2 (Essay) — 9:00 am to 10:00 am

  • Arabic 1 (Objective) — 10:00 am to 10:45 am

This will be the final day of the 2026 BECE examination.

  • Both papers for each subject are written at the same sitting without break.
